Destination Wedding in Koh Phangan, Thailand

I still remember how excited I was when Megan & Dan first told me of their plans to get married in Thailand. When they confirmed that they wanted to book me to shoot their wedding, I think I had to pinch myself several times. I woke up the next morning thinking I had dreamt the whole thing. I felt incredibly lucky!

Fast forward about 12 months…

Megan and Dan got married in August 2019, on the island of Koh Phangan, in the Gulf coast of Thailand - a place very dear to both of their hearts, and a place that they keep returning to, and will do for years to come.

Their wedding took place at the Beautiful Loyfa Natural Resort which was the perfect setting for the simple, stripped back vision that Megan had for an intimate beach wedding with their nearest and dearest.

I am totally honoured to have had the opportunity to shoot this incredible wedding and it will remain as one of my ultimate career highlights. To be able to document the rawness of these kinds of weddings is just a huge privilege. It is an experience I will never forget.

I will let the photos do the rest of the talking. Here are my favourites from the day…

A Destination wedding in Portugal - Camelia & Tim

Well, what can I say about this wedding! It was all kinds of amazing and I feel so lucky I got the opportunity to capture it.

When Camelia first contacted me about her wedding in Portugal I was extremely excited about the chance to document a destination wedding. It was a personal goal of mine, since becoming a wedding photographer, to travel as part of my job, and the fact that I got to see that dream come true was incredible. Now I am itching to photograph more weddings abroad, and see as much of this beautiful planet as possible, through my eyes and my lens...

Camelia and Tim got married at the stunning Quinta, Vintage Wedding  venue near Sintra, Portugal. It was the perfect location, up in the mountains,  but with gorgeous views of the atlantic ocean. The venue itself is a charming historical estate surrounded by the most beautiful gardens and for weddings,  is decorated in a vintage, eclectic style with unique pieces of furniture and details.

I turned up the day before the wedding and immediately hit it off with the Tim and Camelia  - they were so warm and friendly and not only did I get on great with them, but all their friends and family. The day after the wedding was lovely and chilled and I was warmly welcomed into their post wedding celebration party to enjoy a BBQ and a few drinks before heading back to Lisbon airport for my flight home.

The couple added their own twist on an already unique venue, decorating the outside of the building with brightly coloured balloons, which certainly gave an element of juxtaposition to the wedding setting.

The whole day was amazing, sunny, family oriented,  and the wine flowed like water! It is definitely a wedding I will remember and I can't thank Tim and Camelia enough for getting to photograph their beautiful day.

Here a selection of my favourite images. I tried to cut them back more but it was impossible...

Tori & Ed Wedding

I first met Tori & Ed back in early 2016 - they were the kind of couple that I instantly got on well with. We had coffee and teas whilst they told me all about their wedding plans and I knew it was going to be a good one. Fast forward 1 year to their wedding at the gorgeous Haughey Park and it was even more beautiful than I imagined it to be... From the stunning flower bouquets, the stationary,  right through to the impeccably decorated rustic venue, the couple really put a personal stamp on their wedding style.

Tori wore the most amazing Maggie Sottero gown and looked every inch the princess. Ed scrubbed up pretty well too in a sharp grey suit. ;)

Thank you for having me guys. Here are some of my favourites from the day....
